Happy 1st Day of Spring!!

Yesterday we came back to a really cold house after being in D.C. for about 3 days. (Our stove went out). Speaking of DC, we had a really fun time there. We went to the new Smithsonian Museum of flight and in addition to seeing lots of cool planes (we saw the Enola Gay which was the plane that dropped the first atomic bomb) Andrew, Maryah, my Dad and I went on a 3D flight simulator which was really interesting. We had a fun time with our friends and even got to enjoy some "Virginia snow" which is when the weather people say that you are going to get 3 inches of snow and then the next morning it is 60 out(LOL). We also went to the zoo and saw the 3 panda bears that are totally cute. We stayed in a hotel on the way back because we didn't want to come home to a 48 degree house at 11:30pm. Then yesterday we got home, turned on the news and LOW AND BEHOLD bed bugs are back! They are in all sorts of hotels in 47 states including really nice hotels in NYC! The problem is, we aren't supposed to have bed bugs anymore, so how did they get here? From people who travel into America from places like Europe and Asia where they still have bed bugs. Thankfully the hotel we stayed in was only 1 year old.
