X Box 360 and More

Whow! Mom and Andrew just flew out the door because we got a call from our "link" in Wal-Mart saying that four X Box 360s just came in! (Mom and Dad said that this year insteade of lots of presents they would get us a big screen tv and possibly an X Box). I'm just hoping that, number one they are able to get it in time, and number two that it actually works. The first batch of X Box 360s that Microsoft sent in had something wroung with them so they all had to be re-called. (Yah, the same X Box 360s that people were literally fighting for!)

This is our first week of Christmas vacation and it started out bad. Everybody except my Dad and I got sick. (At least so far). They are all better now but I'm just praying that I don't get "it". Because "It" was a whopper.

Right now my Dad and Grandpa are stuck in Philadelphia with a broken truck. The reason they are down there is that this church offerd them this big truck that broke down when they were taking a load of stuff down to Florida for the hurrican Chatrina relief efort for. So somehow they learned that my Dad sold Aqua-Therms (outside wood burning stoves that are really popular right now due to high gas prices) so they decided to give it to Dad for $3,000 if they fixed it to hall stoves. Long story not so short my Dad and his Dad went down to Philly in one truck halling an Aqua-Therm to deliver near there then go pick up the other truck. Well, they never got there. The truck that they were driving broke down for some reason and now there stuck at a car shop 15 min. from Philly.

To end this blog on a light note...."Doesn't expecting the uexpected make the unexpected become the expected?" Parting Shot from Dave Dorst.
